About Mali postal codes

Mali uses postal codes for its 10 regions plus the capital district. Bamako is the primary postal hub. The system covers a vast Saharan and Sahelian territory that was once home to the medieval Mali Empire, whose famed postal relay runners connected Timbuktu to the wider world.
